Two East Asian(Vietnamese)males were killed in a restaurant shooting in Calgary Alberta on New Years Day.In a move reticent of the recent gangland killings in Vancouver,Calgary police say they have a growing gang problem to deal with there. With Winnipeg already #1 in gang killings it seems the problem is crossing the country from both ends.It begins to look like that,if nothing else, deaths from gun violence just might be the tipping point that swings drug enforcement from a prohibition approach to something that removes the profits from the drug situation and ends the last and most brutal prohibition from the early 20th century.Drug prohibition has been a slow builder but is certainly making up for lost ground at a breakneck pace. How many more needless deaths in the name of a drug free world that has never existed?
